Former Morro Bay pot shop owner Charles Lynch wants a new trial. Lynch was found guilty yesterday in a Los Angeles courtroom on five counts of distributing illegal drugs. His medicinal marijuana business was raided and shut down last year by state and Federal officials. Lynch from Arroyo Grande could face five years in prison. He is expected to be sentenced October 20th. According to the Tribune, Lynch’s attorneys are seeking a new trial. The appeal process could take up to a year.
