Lives of Seven Sorority Girls May Have Been Saved By Smoke Detectors
A fire in a 90 year old house gave several sorority girls a scare. It was just after seven o’clock Wednesday morning when the Tri-Delta Sorority girls called 911 after a smoke alarm sounded. When firefighters arrived to the 500 block of Pacific Avenue they extinguished the fire which was confined to the heater. The fire caused $1,500 in damage. No one was injured in the blaze.
