YMCA’s throughout the county and the country will be holding an open house as part of an awareness program. “Lights on After School” focuses on the importance of after school activities in children’s’ lives. More than 1,000 students countywide attend YMCA after school programs. There are 7,500 locations nationwide that will be participating in the event. More than ten schools in San Luis Obispo County will hold the open house from 4pm-6pm tonight..
