Posted: Thursday, 13 November 2008 7:41AM Inmate Dies in the Santa Barabara County Jail Custody Deputies in Santa Barbara found a prisoner, unresponsive in his cell. It was just before three o’clock, early Wednesday morning when an emergency medical team tried to revive 59 year old Patrick William Plamondon. Emergency crews were unable to save him and the Santa Barbara man was pronounced dead at the scene. Plamondon was in jail for violating a restraining order. Investigators say there were no signs of foul play, but the Coroner’s Bureau is looking into the cause of his death.
