Indoor Marijuana Grow Found in an Atascadero Man's House
Thanks to a tip given to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Narcotics Detectives, a commercial marijuana grow set up in an Atascadero home has been shut down. Detectives went to the 12700 block of Rojo Court and checked the place out. They found that the 3,000 square-foot house was being used as a greenhouse to grow marijuana. Approximately 400 plants were seized from this location alone. Detectives are waiting for search warrants for two other homes on Monterey and San Fernando Roads in Atascadero that might be housing a indoor marijuana growing operation as well. Jack Carpenter Junior is the man believed to be in charge of three indoor marijuana grows in the city. He has been arrested.
