Gail Wilcox Accepts Settlement Offer

 San Luis Obispo -- Former Assistant County Administrator Gail Wilcox has accepted the county’s settlement offer. The county authorized its attorneys to offer a settlement of $180,000. Wilcox must provide a complete release of all claims and dismiss the pending litigation against the county and former County Administrator David Edge.
The amount covers all claims including her costs and attorney fees. Wilcox’s attorney, like the SLO County Board of Supervisors, felt they had a strong case, but decided to come to terms after evaluating the time and money required to pursue the legal struggle.
