Posted: Thursday, 07 August 2008 8:30AM Four People Will Be Awarded With Certificate of Community Service Four people are being recognized for their heroic acts. Seth Montgomery, Kris Wood, John Forsman Senior and John Forsman Junior will be awarded the Certificate of Community Service for their willingness to risk their lives. Back in April, 67 year old Wanda Prewitt was driving her Chevy Equinox on Highway 101 when she ran off the road and hit an oak tree. Prewitt was knocked unconscious. The car burst into flames and that is when the four came to her aid. They broke a window, pulled Prewitt and her dog Moose from the fire and saved their lives. The ceremony will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 at the CHP Coast Division in San Luis Obispo.
