Posted: Thursday, 19 June 2008 10:14AM Firefighters Knock Down Blaze in SLO A brush fire blackened five acres of land at Los Ranchos Road and Country Club Drive in San Luis Obispo yesterday afternoon. Fire crews had the 2:30 blaze out within 30 minutes. No structures were threatened but a fence was singed. Hot, dry fire conditions didn’t help matters much, but a cause has yet to be determined.
