Posted: Wednesday, 13 August 2008 10:30AM Fire Shuts Down Restaurant in Big Sur A fire does major damage to a restaurant, temporarily shutting it down. Sunday afternoon at 2, a fire broke out at the Ventana Inn & Spa’s restaurant in Big Sur. Firefighters were able to save the building, however the fire did cause a lot of damage, shutting it down for an unknown amount of time. No one was injured during the fire. The cause is still under investigation.
