More than 100 acres have burned in San Luis Obispo. The fire is burning up in the hills behind Johnson. More than 200 fire fighters fought the fire which is now under control. Currently they are in the middle of mop up operations. The blaze was close to homes, however no buildings were damaged. Some residents were evacuated between Laurel and Orcutt Roads. The fire was caused by arcing power lines around 8:30 this morning. The embers blew up into the hills and started the brush fire. The fire is now 50% contained. A red-flag warning is still in effect.
