Fatal Collision on Highway 101

A young man is now facing charges of vehicular manslaughter after a deadly collision.19 year old Jesse A. Hope was driving his ‘94 Chevy pickup down Highway 101 near State Route 166 when he swerved into the median, then lost control of the car. The car hit the into the median again, causing the car to spin out of control and then roll three times. The impact of the collision killed 20 year old Chadrick Miller of Fountain Valley. The rest of the people in the car suffered moderate to major injuries. All four of them were wearing seat belts. According to the CHP, a driver in a PT Cruiser made an unsafe lane change, which is what caused Hope to swerve, but that report has not been confirmed. Hope was arrested for vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. |
