The San Luis Obispo Police Department is now offering a more convenient method of reporting certain types of crime 24/7 on their website. The service is not intended to replace any of the traditional methods of reporting, but just to make it more convenient for some citizens. After each report is submitted, a police supervisor looks over it and a confirmation e-mail is sent out. E-Reporting can be used to report abandoned vehicles, annoying phone calls, vandalism and certain violations of the City’s Municipal Code.
