Posted: Friday, 10 October 2008 8:08AM Dozens Busted in Major Drug and Gun Trafficking Ring Crackdown After a year long investigation, law enforcement has broken up a drug and gun trafficking ring that distributed mainly cocaine, methamphetamines and firearms to Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. The Santa Barbara Regional Narcotics Enforcement Team served 7 search warrants in the city of Santa Barbara which resulted in the arrest of 26 people. The alleged leader of the ring, faces five drug and gun related charges. All 26 suspects have been booked into Santa Barbara County Jail.
