Biography
Dave Congalton has been the #1 talk show host on the Central Coast since his popular radio show debuted in January 1992. The former college instructor offers up "Hometown Radio" weekday afternoons from 3 to 7, mixing discussion of national and local topics and encouraging all points of view. Congalton is an award-winning author and writes a newspaper column called "Big Yellow Taxi" for SLO City News.
A native of Chicago, Congalton is married to Charlotte Alexander, who currently serves as executive director of the Emergency Medical Services Agency for San Luis Obispo County. The couple, active in animal rescue, live in Nipomo with more animals than they care to admit.
