|
Two more streets are under construction for the Nacimiento Water Project. Crews will be installing a 30 inch steel water line along South River Road in Paso Robles. Construction will continue from Santa Ysabel Road to Niblick Road. Drivers should expect temporary road closures, detours and traffic delays from 7am to 5pm everyday weekday until the project is complete in September.
Also in Atascadero and Santa Margarita, work crews will be installing a pipeline along El Camino Real from Asuncion Road all the way to Santa Margarita. There will be on lane traffic control from 7am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Work in this location should be finished up late this month.
San Luis Obispo County Public Works will be replacing a concrete box culvert in Nipomo. Road crews will be working on South Thompson Avenue just south of Teft Street. The new culvert will reduce potential flooding along Haystack Creek. Drivers are reminded to drive cautiously near the construction site. A detour will be in effect.
The City of SLO will be working on painting the Marsh Street parking structure over the next two months. Partial sidewalk closures will be in effect around the structure, but businesses will still be open during the project. The structure may also be closed intermittently, so during the project, the city is asking people to utilize the Palm structures instead. The Chorro and Marsh Street bus stops will be temporarily relocated to the next block. Painters will be work from 7am until 5pm on weekdays until the project in completed at the end of September. |
