Posted: Thursday, 28 August 2008 8:10AM City Employees Impersonators on the Loose The Office for the City of San Luis Obispo has been getting some interesting phone calls… Residents in San Luis Obispo are reporting that people are coming to their homes and identifying themselves as City Water Conservation Staff. The City does provide consultations, however this week, imposters were in full force. The city of San Francisco has been having a similar issue. If anyone comes to your door and you do not think they are the person that they claim to be, ask for a city ID. If the person still comes across as suspicious, do not let them in your home and call 911 immediately.
