Posted: Thursday, 19 June 2008 10:12AM Car Thefts in Busy Shopping Center While many people were shopping in the Marigold Shopping Center in San Luis Obispo, one person was doing some "shopping" of their own. SLOPD responded to several reports of vehicle burglaries that took place yesterday afternoon. Several purses were taken from cars that were left unlocked. The burglaries took place during a 45 minute period just after 4:30. If you have any information on these crimes, please call Crime Stoppers at 549.STOP.
