Posted: Friday, 22 August 2008 11:36AM Car Burglar Caught in the Act A burglar was caught in the act by officers on foot patrol near a popular night club in San Luis Obispo. It was just after midnight on Thursday when police spotted a man breaking a window of a Nissan Altima that was parked near the Graduate. That man, 25 year old Rudy Jesse Perez Junior, then reached into the car and grabbed a purse. Officers took Perez and the purse into custody a short time later. Perez was arrested for vehicle burglary and violation of his probation.
