Santa Maria may see some major changes in their roads over the next few years…CalTrans is holding an open forum tonight to discuss the proposed extension of Union Valley Parkway from Hummel Drive to Blosser Road. CalTrans is proposing to construct an interchange between Union Valley Parkway and Highway 101. The city has completed an analysis of the effects the major construction project would have on the environment and they plan to present that tonight at the public hearing. If you have any questions, comments or concerns about the project, you can get them answered at the Enterprise Ballroom in the Santa Maria Radisson tonight starting at 5:30pm.
