Cal Poly Alumni to be Honored for Competing in the Olympics
Cal Poly grad Stephanie Brown Trafton is still competing with the best after having brought home the Olympic Gold this summer. She has placed third in the women’s discus at the IAAF World Athletics Final in Germany. Brown Trafton—along with Cal Poly Olympians high jumper Sharon Day, baseball player Jimmy Van Ostrand and horseback rider Gina Miles—will be honored during half-time at Cal Poly’s homecoming game on November 8th.
