Burglars and Vandals Hit Two Local Schools
|
Police are asking for your help to find those responsible for vandalizing Laguna Middle School. Sometime before 6:30 Tuesday morning, several glass display cases were smashed in, potted plants were ruined and markers and paint were used to deface the walls and windows. Students were kept away from the damage so no one would get cut by the broken glass.
That same night, someone also burglarized San Luis Obispo High School. The suspects forced open the doors of an annex building, which led into a large refrigeration area. Once inside, suspects had access the rest of the school. The school is working on determining what was taken. Police don’t know if this crime is related to the vandalism at Laguna Middle School. The investigation is ongoing, but if you have any information, you are being urged to call CrimeStoppers at 549.STOP.
