Burglar Behind Bars

The man who crawled through the window of a woman’s home and tried to rape her has been taken into custody. 31 year old Joshua Jon Pierce was arrested at his workplace in Oceano. Sheriff’s Detectives were able to recover the credit cards that were in the victim’s purse that Pierce allegedly stole before he left the scene. Detectives also found the shoes of the suspect, along with the woman’s purse in a dumpster. Investigators are using the shoes for DNA evidence. Pierce has been charged with burglary, attempted rape, violation probation and illegal possession of found property. |
