Posted: Monday, 04 August 2008 12:31PM Bank Robber on the Loose Police are on the lookout for yet another bank robbery suspect. On Friday morning, around 10:40, SLOPD received a call about a bank robbery at the Downey Savings on Higuera Street. They determined that the bank had been robbed by an armed man in his 30s or 40s wearing a fake beard as part of his disguise. The suspect was last seen wearing a tan hat, metallic framed glasses and a white button up shirt and dark jacket leaving the scene on a mountain bike. Detectives search the area for the suspect and any possible evidence. The investigation is still underway.
