Posted: Thursday, 28 August 2008 8:08AM Avoid the 14 Cracking Down on Drunk Drivers Over the Holiday Weekend Pismo Police will be holding a DUI Checkpoint tonight. Over 30,000 people are injured every year in alcohol related collisions, which is why the Avoid the 14 campaign is around to remind everyone to designate when you celebrate. The hours of operation for the checkpoint have not yet been released. SLO Police will be doing the same tomorrow night between 9pm and 3am. The location for both checkpoints is yet to be disclosed.
