Posted: Thursday, 31 July 2008 8:36AM Autopsy Results Back For Hiker Who Was Found Dead Autopsy results show that the missing hiker died of a blunt force trauma, but investigators are still trying to put the pieces together to figure out what really happened to Lance Erik Leage. He was reported missing this weekend after he and a friend got separated in the Cerro Alto Campground. According to the Tribune, Leage’s friend last saw him running down a steep trail and found Leage’s shirt stained with blood. On Sunday, Search and Rescue Teams found him dead in a heavily wooded area about 200 feet from the trail. The investigation is still underway.
