A Man is Dead After Trying to Cross Highway 101

A San Francisco man is dead after he tried to cross the highway during rush hour. Just after 5pm on Tuesday, CHP received a report that a man had been hit by a car on Highway 101 in Atascadero. According to the Tribune, 45 year old David Price got out of his car and tried to cross the southbound lanes of the highway just north of San Anselmo Road. 21 year old Anna Jane Moore saw Price run onto the highway, but wasn’t able to stop in time. Moore got some cuts and bruises. Her passenger 20 year old Pablo Garcia wasn’t injured. Price was pronounced dead at Twin Cities Hospital an hour after the collision. |
