Posted: Friday, 06 June 2008 9:19AM 5th District Decided Incumbent Supervisor Jim Patterson will keep his seat on the SLO County Board of Supervisors. Patterson has edged out challenger Debbie Arnold. After a count of nearly 2,000 provisional and absentee ballots yesterday, Patterson emerged the winner bynot more than hundreds of votes. Arnold reportedly conceded. Patterson will be joined by Adam Hill and Bruce Gibson giving the board an apparent slow growth majority.
