A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing between Lompoc and Buelton yesterday afernoon. At around 12:30, emergency crews from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the Sheriff’s Office and the CHP were notified of the incident. It’s unclear what type of emergency forced the pilot to land on the 4300 block of Highway 246. No one was injured during the landing.
